Is there a way to get rid of GRUB and any Linux OS selector so that Linux starts automatically without having to wait for GRUB to go through it's OS choice process? I want to keep the Windows OS...

how exactly do you make a fresh copy? I tried putting onto a floppy using the mounted MSDOS disc and the file I collected was empty so it did nothing when I selected it from the OS selection screne....
