Is there any way to auto logout the session if it exceeds certain time OR to know how much time the session was idle ?

it worked fine..actually it is the combination of both the issues..first it was the permission issue..once I corrected , the script started executing..
then I replace . with exec...

If the process did not run from crontab, I would have thought it has something to...
