I presume you mean the AD password? I have changed it but it doesn't seem to have made a difference. I still cant access the shares the next morning.

Woohoo, our distributor finally got it working by updating Samba and starting from scratch....

Funnily enough I did read the 8 character password thing as a possible "known bug" on another forum.

I don't want to change my 'administrator' password as it is embedded into lots...
