Thanks, I looked into them already but there all dead ends I compiled a mux file and it seamed to work but its missing a timer event so my legacy program still dont run I removed the mux connection...

I have xinetd-2.1.8.1, I think that's oldest one I have found but still has issues.

am using solaris 7 for a legacy project and it requires a mux connection and the developer told me there used xinetd but there lost there own archived version so I had to get it from archives on...

I got the xinetd src from synack archive but when I try to compile I get errors all over the place, so am just wondering if anyone has a pre patched working version of xinetd for solaris 7 or higher...

I been having a lot of trouble trying to start up a 3rd party application in Solaris 7 but it seams that its missing entry's when trying to run the files so maybe the start shells scripts have errors...
