route add 10.6.0.50 eth2

Frankly I don't understand the importance of this line, although this resolved my problem. so, if...

all ports on the switch are in the same vlan and these ports are working fine. when I try to deconnect hostA from switch and replace it by hostB on the same port, hostB can communicate with hostC...
