My crude test would go something like this:

fill fs
see alert hit errpt
delete file I used to fill fs
fill fs again
no error hits errpt


#cd to the unlucky fs
cd /opt

#fill fs
dd...

The biggest noticeable change is the shell.

KSH -> Bash

You'll notice a lot of LVM changes
extendlv/lvextend
chfs/resize4fs
pvs/lspv
vgs/lsvg
lvs/lslv

It's a totally different world
