You can try if enable mxpio like that stmsboot -e -D fp This will create pesudo driver for fibre device only. If just using stmsboot -e, will have chance to change the device path of your system...

Have you check the permission rights of the directory /bpcl/s8-zone/root ? Please post the zonecfg and zoneadm if possible.

It depends what applications are planning to run on the ZFS. And it will be better if the pool can be formed in mirror / raidz state instead of just 1 LUN or stripe set of pool.
