I am working with two files named g1.txt and g2.txt....g1.txt is my main file in which it contains following data

It's not working.....String containing special characters like ",{,\" so that it could not find the match

Need Help For GREP

I have a file say g1.txt and content of file is below

REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer" /v NoDrives /t REG_DWORD /d 4 /f ,
REG ADD...

i am reading 1,2,3 from user and fet its respective command RED Add.........from g1.txt file ...and check this REG ADD...... is already in g2.txt file or not ......... if it exists delete that...

in both the files value will not be consistent every time....it will changed dynamically when program calls....

I need how can i check string with special characters using grep command
