which contain multiple directories named not in pattern want to copy the XYZ in all of the directories...

ps -ef |grep nohup

got process id 22182
kill -9 22182

about your job you have to write a script for the same logic either in perl or shell.
and then rum that script by Unix commands.

You already have script which will check the changes of a particular network folder??? If so then it is too easy to do so
