2) software Raid.

first of all,slice 2 shows entire disk and tagged as backup........to use more slice than 7 slices in solaris you have to use SVM in solaris to create thousand of slices from a particular physical...

yes ferrozo said the right thing.......you have only 9.75 gb complete space in solaris ...u have to re partition ur disk again

yes there is no metadevices.....metastat for SVM raid while raidctl is for hardware raid.....raidctl command shows hardware raid

are ur metadiveces are mounted before taking reboot or not............
