mt command is found on AIX and not on RHEL5.

The tape Library is built/connected to the AIX RAC.

No SCSI cable is attached to the RHEL5 Server.

Please find attached the directory listings on both AIX and RHEL5 as requested.

I also observed that if I load a new tape into the drive and enter the command:
"tar tvf /dev/rmt2" on both AIX...

tctl command is not found in RHEL5.

This adds to the previous screenshots sent earlier on view tape backup content from AIX . Regards

To backup i used this command: tar cvf /dev/rmt2
to view i used this command: tar tvf /dev/rmt2 and
