I have 10 directories.I want to delete all the dicrectories except the three recent directories based on timestamp.I am new to BASH can u help me?

Example these are files with their timestamp:
file1 may10
file2 may15
file3 june3
file4 june 15
file5 june 30
file6 july 18
file7 july 25

i would need the script to delete files1...

Thanks ygemici.But the code that u sent deletes the last three oldest files.I wanted to delete everything except the last three recent files.
