I run vsftpd and no messages displayed.

I checked the ftp services that were running and found ftp-psa , disable it within xinetd and tried vsftpd start again and it has come up ok.

I have not done anything to any of the exisitng services just downloaded and try to start the service

Today I have installed VSFTPD but service is failing to start.

We have been using standard FTP successful but need to introduce an FTPS option.

I have run YUM install VSFTPD and everything...
