Suppose there are 3 files inside a directory, then i need to use display command which will display, the file name and its size. Is it possible?

The output should llook like this only

file1...

echo "enter your number"
read x
while [ "$x" -le 10]
do
x = `expr $x \* 2`
echo $x
done

I am giving i/p for x as 2 mt

But it throws syntax error on 'expr' st
