logging to file
I am trying to figure a way to have a log file and still keep the output in the terminal in a script.
The example below logs to a file nicely but i still want the output in the terminal as well

Hi
as it says "No Packages marked for Update" this is not an error, it just means you have the latest packages, and therefore no updates are necessary.

Python and logname
How would i do this in python

In bash i would do below and this would add the users logname to a file
This write the logname ie James to test.txt

But how would i do it in python this doesnt...
