I have searched the forum but couldn't find exactly what I need. Hopefully someone may be able to help.

I'm trying to put a script together that will extract numbers from a text file...

Unfortunately this doesn't appear to work for me. It looks as though $Myfile is actually set to 'ls Myfile*' instead of the ls command being executed and $Myfile being set to the returned file name....
