Have a file seperated by "~" and no of fields is 104. When i try to run awk, it erros out.

awk: record `B~A31~T24_STF~~~2009...' has too many fields

I have a XML file as below and i would like to extract all the lines between <JOB & </JOB> for every such occurance. The number of lines between them is not fixed.

As this on Production, a unable to set it as verbose or run with "sh -vx".

All i need to know is find the line in the script that is getting executed.

how can i get the line/line number from a script that is being executed. Its not running in a verbose mode.

Unable to get them using ps command.
