sincere thanks. Actually I read some of the docuemnts. Here is the sequence it did.

1. STOP A
2. at ok prompt entered 'boot CDROM'

LED on CDROM drive blinked three times and it stuck again...

CD details:
Solaris 2.6 software
SPARC Platform Edition
SMCC Server Configuration.
