i need to use grep to search a bunch of header files inside a directory to return which file i can find the function i'm searching for in. how do i use wild cards to search through the files?...

i figured it out...it was /home/krad/Unix/fileAsst/*.txt

thanks, i'm looking for something a little more advanced. i want to search and list words that start with "b" for exampe. also, how do i use grep to list words of a certain number of characters?
