I have installed solaris 10 using VMware on my personal computer where the host operating system is Windows XP.

After the installation i can see only one disk (c0t0) . ie the disk...

This i have to admit

Hi

Given read and write permission ( for group others etc) on any ordinary text file one can edit and view the file . In this case what role does an execution field play.

Simply run

cp /dev/null /var/tmp/mond.log

All the content of the log file will be removed
