I would like to know the significance of 2 way and 4 way and 8 way Hardware Description, like 2 way p595 and 4 way p695 servers.

What exactly does "2 way", "4 way" mean ?

To put it straight, they had to come out with a new Certification pattern to cater to AIX 6.1 Release.
That explains the naming as simply "System p Administrator" to cater to future AIX 6 releases...
