Command only works in it's own directory

*RESOLVED*

It appears that in order for the program in question to run, it has to be run from the directory it resides as it makes changes to the current directory and is dependent on other files...

Unix/Darwin/MacOSX Terminal -- and I'm a newby.

I have a file called 'symfony' here:

/opt/sf/data/bin/symfony

If I go:

cd /opt/sf/data/bin

and then,

./symfony -V

It responds...
