I forgot to mention the all the files end with .src, but their names vary.

So for example....

I have a file with about 60 lines of path:

app-defaults/boxXYZ.......

I want to change this to /my/path/goes/here/app-defaults/boxXYZ, but of course vi doesn't like the regualr...

I have a one line bat script run off a XP machine that tar's and compresses some files from a Sol 8 box. It goes something like this (a bit simplified)....

plink -pw <passwd> user@host "tar -cvf -...

I double checked and it looks like I put a LVD on the A1000. Once I take it off, probe-scsi-all sees the 6 drives in the A1000.

Now, do I still need a HVD on back of it?

That's not good I guess. I'm not sure about the HBA......our "hardware guy" was suppose to set it up with the exact specs as our existing system. He ordered the parts, threw it together, and took off...
