Problem solved

I have two unix system A and B with same configuration.
I can use remsh from A system login to B system as root, but when I want to change the root password of B system, it ask me the old password,...

I try to copy a file to another system using NFS,
but it is very slow, i want to kill this process.
I tried a kill -9 on this cp process but still can't terminate,
without any error message....

Or can I use back the HP unix 10 telnetd program, replace with HP unix 11 :confused:

It was because when I use telnet connet to HP-UNIX 11, I can't use a program call MFG/Pro due to the above reason.

However, how to write our own telnetd?? Is there any information about this can...

When using telnet connect to HP unix 10, it will get a pty/ttyxx terminal,
but using telnet connect to HP unix 11, it will get a pts/tx terminal.
