I dont know what the backup manager is. The EXE on the desktop just says backup manager. When I type in uname -a i get this back:

SCO_SV [company name] 3.2 2 i386

I am completely new to Unix. I dont know any of the commands. I dont know how to find out what Versions or Devices are running.

is there a way that I can check to see if the device is even being recognized? And would there be a reason that the Backup Manager closes as soon as I try to open it?
