I checked that list already, however the motherboards shown in the list are all very old, like Pentium 2 or Pentium 3 XEON. Yet, there is nothing for dual processor, and nothing for TYAN as well.

So, it doesn't really matter with the motherboard? It is just the CPU?
And do you mean that for the Solaris, there is a version for Intel, and other for AMD?

Actually No. I would like to make sure the motherboard and everyelse can go with these two OS. Co'z I am pretty sure I will use this system for Linux, then probably after a month, format it and go...
