resolv.conf
nsswitch.conf
netmasks
hosts

but when I reboot, my NIC still is not configured. Which file...

mount -v "remote hostname":/cdrom/cdrom0 /mnt

on Solaris 8 and get the error "can't use -v option with arguments.

Never mind. I fixed it with rm -r of bogus cdroms and running /etc/init.d/nfs.server start
