Well, i don't really know what the exact error message because I don't have the tape right now to try it, but when I get the tape I'll have to copy it emidiatelly so I have to know...can you please...

I'm a freshair to unix and I also have problems how can I take a huge file from a tape, (note: not a cd-rom drive), to see it and then copy it to my hard disk.....
