When I use "sar -d" I get information about disk activities like:

sd0 ...
sd0,a ...
sd0,b ...
.....
sd22 ...
sd22,a ...
.....

How I can find by , for example sd22,a , what...

Check regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\DATABASE_STARTUP="AUTO" , sometimes it can help.

And better, use UNIX instead. It's really more powerfull and "transparent". For Oracle specially.

I had like problem. In my case it was controller. It was hot weather and from time to time copy of large info interrupted with error.
One more idea is corrupted blocks on your hdd . Check it.

You can do like this:

Inside while your F is your string.

P.S. To combine all tasks in one query you can use PL/SQL procedure, which will generate table with report, and you just will print report in you script

If you need to combine output results from two absolutly different scrips (if you can't combine it in the one), then I think you have to do something like this:

But mail not arrive to second. It return by daemon with explanation:
