solved the problem.

i have installed the sudo package. Added the non-root users in sudo configuration file.

check the IP of the DNS server

put those ip /etc/resolv.conf

vi /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver 202.138.96.2 (example)
nameserver 202.138.96.3

cp /etc/nsswitch.dns /etc/nsswitch.conf
...

I have installed ethereal on solaris 10. however I can execute the ./ethereal using the root account. if tried to execute same from non-root users i am facing the following error.
