this command gives me size of the test.txt on GNU/Linux
But on Sun sol I'm nt bale to use this command.
Need equivalent command to it...

With reference to the error capturing again, i have writen a script in which the errors are captured in std.errr file.

ftp_run {

---------
--------
}

ftp_run > $logfile 2> std.errr

Now...

Actually the files are having format as- unique'timestamp'.rtf e.g
UNIQUE20071219030529.rtf

& the filename changes as per the timestamp.
