When I run the following in a shell, it works fine:
tail -n 2 file.txt | sort -k 1
I tried it under severel shells: c-shell, borne-shell, bash

I mean when I run the script on the c-shell...

When I run "export EDITOR=vi" (under c-shell), I get the folllowing error:
export: Command not found.
