Found the error. Was a coding problem. Since I generated the file on a Windows machine, the line ending was different. Now, it works 100%.

BTW, your solution does not work, if there are special charcters between the [ and ]. Any idea why?

I forgot to mention one little thing, which is not dramatic. But between the groups there is some rubbish text.

For instance:

[aa1 bb1] jkjlk
cc1
dd1
...

The expected result should be a table...
