Hello all,
I'm trying to search present working directory and all subdirectories for a file that starts with xyz.

I'm assuming something along the lines of ...

find . -name 'xyz' -ls ?
...

both command options [du -k] AND [du -sk] worked great. The [du -h] option was an unrecognized commandline option. Thanks very much. :)

How would I go about finding the about of disk space occupied by a certain directory?

For example, /u1/cvera => 530 MB
