i guess this means 40MB? Strange, if i ftp in with GlobalSCAPE, the mysql folder in the directory above (which does indeed contain the mysql db) is 86MB... not sure what he 400500 figure...

thanks, if I enter du -sk /var/lib/mysql and the output is 400500 what is the total MB usage? /var/lib/mysql should contain the mysql db, i believe..?

is there / are there any commands that will return the size of a database, in MB?...
