sed -n "/$FromTime/,/$ToTime/p" $logFile > new_log.log

Try backticks `...` instead of $(...)
ret =`echo Q | timeout 5 openssl s_client connect "${1`hostname`}:${2-443}" -ssl3 2> /dev/null`

With printf you can use the width trick, something like:
date | awk '{ printf("%s %*s\n", $2, 2, $3) }'

Something like this?
echo "$BrackListAllFinal" | grep _Brkt$
