Hi

Try this....

ls -ltr | grep -F "Jan 3" | tr -s " " | cut -d " " -f6-9

Specify the date inside quotes of grep -F.

Or

a=`date "+%b %e"`

ls -ltr | grep -F "$a" | tr -s " " | cut...
