windows connection to sco

I have a Sco box that runs an application. I currently have several connections open on terminals that connect via IP. How ever these are basically dumb terminals with a very basic configuration. I would like to connect to the Sco server from a windows pc. Now the questions.

Will HyperTerminal do?
Is there something better that is open source? (i.e. Putty)?
What would the configuration be on the client? (Vt100 or ansi or should I just leave it as auto detect)?

Thanks,
RogueIT.
PS. if I should post this somewhere else due to overly elementary question please let me know.

What works and what doesn't

Putty will work but it is some what difficult to tweak to perfection. A better choice is anzio lite. http://anzio.com/products/anziolite.htm not free but only about $40 /copy or less. As for the emulation, Sco uses SCOansi aka SCO open console. Hyper Terminal does not support it. Hyper terminal will connect but the graphics will be wrong and the function keys will not work. As an added benifit, with sco ansi, if your application uses any color, it will be displayed on the terminal. Best of luck. Gadgetman

Eric's Telnet comes highly recommended at a reasonable price, and fully supports SCO.
