Operating Systems SCO SCO: UNIX Spooler

In earlier versions of the OS I found that a reboot of the system usually cleared spooler hangs. Have never found the reason(s) for them.

I have the printers setup as netcat

The Unix is running sco 5.0.7 Open Server
The network printers are on print servers.
The printers are setup in "scoadmin"
They are configured in "/etc/hosts" and "/etc/printers".
All are pointing to the correct settings.

I have rebooted the server.
No luck.

Restarting the Spooler

:confused: Everytime our UNIXWARE 7 Server is restarted we also have to restart the spooler. If the spooler is not restarted, print jobs get stuck in the queu.
