stop commands

i hit ping to ping a server, and it keeps going.


how do you stop it? ctrl Z, D, C, nothing works.

Hi there,
well i don't see any problem when we use the ping. you've probably done something elz. Well 2 stop any service use ctrl+z coz in unix ctrl+c will pause the service not stop it.

This is probably down to your terminal emulation

try pressing backspace or Cntrl+h
