SCO 5.05 hard drive pulsing constantly

Just recently my hard drive has started to pulse like data is being read or written constantly. Causes?

Without more information - anything. Look at this troubleshooting guide and see what you can find. Follow the instructions in it.

Looked and cannot find anything that looks obvious. I did a ps -el and deleted a bunch of processes that I though might be causing this. Nothing changed as I killed them. I rebooted machine and it was quiet all Friday after that. Started machine today and is pulsing again.

Hi, I just set up a raid Z array in solaris xpress and I notice that the drives feel pretty damn hot. I use speedfan to monitor the temperatures of the hard drives in XP.
