Help finding where certain environment variables are set

i have two machines that should be identical but on one system there are some oracle environment (ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_HOME, etc...) variables that are not being set for the users.

I am trying to find where those environment variables are being set on the system which is working properly. All users are using csh and the /etc/profile $HOME/.login $HOME for both systems are the same.

Are there any other generic scripts besides /etc/profile that I can check? I also tried grep'ing for ORACLE_HOME in /etc, /etc/init.d, /etc/rc2.d but can't find anything.

thanks!
