Hi,

can someone help me with this?

How do we apply a new version of s/w package without disrupting the processes & daemons running with the old version?

whell depends on package and version.
using RHEL or CENTOS up2date/yum

you could make a script to test if users are using the programm and if they not upgrade
but like i said be more precise plz
