Booting Knoppix from RHEL
Hey peeps and geeks!!!

Noob here, so plz don't mind my igorance Smilie
I have an intel p4 running xp and RHEL 4, 2.6.9-5.EL kernel.
I love knoppix co'z its so good to get started...
but i have to always boot from cd., I have created an image of Knoppix with the command:
Knoppix tohd=/dev/hda5
I could boot from that image using command Knoppix fromhd=/dev/hda5 at the Knoppix boot prompt.
What I want to do is to get one option for booting Knoppix when I boot my mechine.
I don't want to create floppy disks for booting Knoppix.

I think it's got something to do with grub.conf...

You're quite right, it's got everything to do with grub.conf. here are instructions for what you want, scroll down to "Using grub to boot Knoppix images."
