Error NIC troubles with Redhat 9.0
Hi all,
I'm attempting to run another RAID server, this time with the Redhat 9.0 (shrike) OS.
I'm encountering a problem by which it refuses to detect the onboard NIC, a Realtek RTL8139. I know there's gotta be a workaround, by which I can tell it exactly which IRQ and all that... but I'm drawing a blank... I'm primarily an IRIX user, so forgive me for trying to cut and run at the first sign of trouble Smilie
Perhaps Fedora Core 5 is a better alternative for hardware functionality?

Mobo: Epox 8RDA3+pro
Video: Asus V9400-X
Proc: AMD Athlon XP 1700
SCSI controller: Adaptec AHA-2940U

Update
upgrading to Fedora Core 4 solved the problem.
