Team,

In case that I have bash as the default shell for the system, the global configuration file will be placed in /etc/bashrc. What if I changed the default shell from bash to sh,ksh or any non-bash shell, where the global configuration file will be placed?

In my case, I want to add more alias to the system under "sh" shell; my default system shell

Try adding the required aliases to your ~/.profile file.

If you want to add it to all the users, then you can add it in the /etc/profile file.
