I have used shc utillity to convert a shell script to it's compiled version.Inside this script i have called another shell script which is also in compled version.

Example:-
Main script:- main.sh.x
child script:- child.sh.x (this is called inside main.sh.x)

This child script will run in background inside main script.

But whenever i m running main.sh.x , it is getting failed while putting
child.sh.x into background and giving below error.

If i run these script in uncomplied version..it is running absolutely fine.

Can someone please give me some idea what is going wrong here.

Does the executable file /usr/bin/nohup exist? It is possible on your system that nohup is not on your system. Please let us know.

One more thing i would like to mention here ...if i run main.sh.x and inside that putting child.sh instead of child.sh.x ..it is running fine.
But if I use child.sh.x..then only it is giving error.

Since i want to encrypt all the scripts...i canot use child.sh directly ..i have use it's compiled version i,e child.sh.x
