Hi,

I know how to use email redirection using /etc/aliases file + postfix combination and it is working fine for existing users.

The question I have is: I want to send an email to tony@server1.example.com while tony user is actually not there. Rather, I want to redirect that email to todd@server1.example.com I can redirect if "tony" exist on this server1.example.com - but when it doesn't exist on server1.example.com, then the mail delivery fails and bounce back to original server sending that email.

Is there any way to work around it? I dont want to create that user "tony" but still want to receive his email to "todd" account using email redirection.

       pmdapostfix - Postfix performance metrics domain agent (PMDA)

DESCRIPTION

       pmdapostfix is a Performance Metrics Domain Agent (PMDA) which exports mail queue sizes as reported by qshape(1), as well as aggregate
       statistics collected from mail.log.

INSTALLATION

       If you want access to the names and values for the Postfix performance metrics, do the following as root:

	   # cd $PCP_PMDAS_DIR/postfix
	   # ./Install

       If you want to undo the installation, do the following as root:

	   # cd $PCP_PMDAS_DIR/postfix
	   # ./Remove

       pmdapostfix is launched by pmcd(1) and should never be executed directly.  The Install and Remove scripts notify pmcd(1) when the agent is
       installed or removed.
