also in solaris thr raidctl utility depends on the making and model of the raid controller. with a megaraid controller raidctl won't work. as you have a x86 server (model would be a usefull information for us to help) there is a big chance for an interface which you can access during bootup with some special keys (like ctrl + c e.g.).

Hi..i need to install package (*.rpm) on RHEL 6.2 . I have those patches available in RPM disc. When i try using below command

rpm -ivh <package name>

it give me following error

no key
warning:user mockbuild does not exist - using root
warning:group mockbuild does not exist - using root

and it shows 100% as well but when i try using below command it shows nothing

rpm -qa <package name>

It is has some other process to do this.
