VNCSERVER Install

Hi All,

Just wondering if someone can help me out here:

Wanted to install vnc server on Centos 6, yum installed tigervnc but there after I do not see any services associated with it.

Also, I had installed SAMBA and proceeded with SWAT installation but I am unable to access http://localhost.com/901

I had earlier changed the SWAT file to disable 'NO'

I have not installed or used CentOS 6 but in CentOS 5 vncserver is installed by default. It is in this location /usr/bin/vncserver. You just need to configure it and start is it. The user document on the centOS site has instructions on setup and use VNC. There is also a man page for VNC, type man vncserver on the terminal.

I hope this helps
